About Sucral Mu Ointment

This is a combination medication which has Mupirocin and Sucralfate as active ingredients. It falls under a category of drugs known as antibiotics. This ointment treats skin infections such as impetigo or folliculitis. It functions by arresting bacterial growth. The usual dose in adults for treating bacterial infections is 3 times a day application for 10 days. When applying, clean and dry the affected area well. Wash your hands after usage.

It works by forming an ulcer-adherent complex that covers the ulcer site and protects it against further attack by acid, pepsin, and bile salts.
