SWICH DROP are used for treating mild infections caused by bacteria. Most commonly, it is used to treat infections like bronchitis, urinary tract infections, infections that develop in the ear, throat, or nose, and gonorrhoea. It treats these infections by not the bacteria from growing further. This medication is available as a tablet and syrup too, and is generally taken with 12 hours intervals. It can be taken for anywhere between 5 – 14 days, depending on the severity of one’s infection.
Cefpodoxime can have side effects that are minor and go away on their own, as well as major side effects. The minor side effects of SWICH DROP include gas, jealousy, abdominal pain, vomiting and nausea. As your body gets accustomed to it, the side effects subside on their own. Some of the major side effects include vaginal itching, rashes, hives, white discharge from the vagina, deep coloured urine, wheezing, problems with breathing, hives, and swelling on the face, throat, and tongue. SWICH DROP is used to cure urinary tract infection caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

SWICH DROP cures Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae and some fungal infections.
SWICH DROP treats bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumonia, Haemophilus influenzae and some Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
SWICH DROP is used to treat Gonococcal infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
