About T-Bact 2% Ointment

T-Bact is an antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections such as Impetigo and folliculitis. The ointment is not as effective against viral or fungal infections and thus should not be used for such conditions.

It is advised that you should not use this ointment if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women must consult the doctor before using the medication to avoid any damage to the foetus or infant respectively.

You should apply the ointment based on the dosage given to you. Even then, you and your doctor should check on how your body is reacting to the ointment and then use the ointment accordingly.

The usual dosage instructs an adult patient to use it three times a day. The side effects of the medicine include skin rash, mild burning or itching sensation in your skin, stomach cramp, diarrhoea, mucus or blood discharge in your stool.
