About Tazid 125 MG Injection

A cephalosporin antibiotic, Tazid 125 MG Injection is used to treat joint infections, meningitis, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, sepsis and malignant otitis externa. It classifies as a semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum antibiotic and acts especially against gram-negative infections. Administration of this medicine into the body is done by injecting it into a vein or a muscle.

Intake of Tazid 125 MG Injection should be avoided if –

  • You have allergy from ceftazidime or other cephalosporin class of antibiotics.
  • You are taking chloramphenicol.

Tazid 125 MG Injection may interact with a few medical conditions so keeping your doctor informed if you have any of these medical conditions is important:

  • If you are pregnant or planning to soon be pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • If you are already taking any medication, dietary supplement or herbal preparation.
