About Tigatel 12Mg Tablet

Tigatel 12Mg Tablet belongs to a family of drugs that are used to treat seizures and epilepsy. It is also effective in reducing the risk of serious conditions such as stroke, heart attacks, heart conditions and even death.

This medication helps in maintaining optimal blood pressure levels in a person’s body. In patients who suffer from hypertension, it helps in lowering the blood pressure. It works by widening and dilating the blood vessels and also relaxes them.

The medicine also helps the kidneys to flush out excess salt and water, thus reducing the blood pressure. Therefore, this medication is highly effective in treating hypertension. It is a drug that is also known as an Angiotensin receptor blocker or an ARB.

It is also given to patients, to reduce their risk of developing conditions such as heart disorders, stroke, and heart attacks. The action of this medicine is produced by blocking the effect of Angiotensin. It prevents the activation of the receptor, by the Angiotensin II hormone that would usually result in a slight increase of the blood pressure, when it is low.

The blood pressure is reduced by dilating and relaxing the muscles of the blood vessels. This enables your kidneys to eliminate the excess of water and salt. The regular recommended dosage of this medication is a 40 mg tablet should be taken once a day.

The doctor might increase the dosage to 80 mg if you suffer from serious conditions of the heart. It is important to continue taking this medication according to the doctor’s prescription until you have completed the course.
