About Ubicar Cream
This medication is used for the treatment of blood vessel disorders like venous stasis, varicose veins, lymphedema, piles, etc. Additionally, it helps to control and treat internal hemorrhoids and excessive thinning of the blood.
The cream works by inhibiting the action of prostaglandins and thromboxane A2 which are responsible for inflammation (swelling) of the veins. It improves the flow of blood in the veins and restores normal vein function. The drug is for external use only. Clean the affected area before applying the cream.

How does this medication work?
This is a semisynthetic drug to treat venous disease. The cream reduces venous capacitance and distensibility by delaying norepinephrine’s vasoconstriction effect on the vein walls. It also increases the intensity and frequency of lymphatic contractions thereby improving lymphatic drainage.
