About Urief 4mg Tablet

This medication falls under a category of drugs known as alpha-blockers. It is used to treat enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). This functions by relaxing the prostate and bladder muscles allowing greater urine flow.

    This medication works as an antagonist of the alpha-1 adrenoreceptor selective for the prostrate. It binds to and blocks these receptors which lower intraurethral pressure, relaxes smooth muscles and improves urine flow.
