Belonging to the group of antifungal medicines called triazoles, it works by slowing down the fungal growth that is known to cause the infection.

The dosage of the medication is decided by your doctor based on your general health, the type of infection you are suffering from and your response to the medication. You need to take this drug at least an hour before or after having your meal.
