ZEPTOL

    Zeptol is a 200-gm tablet, which is most commonly used to treat fits or epilepsy. It also finds use in treatment of manic depression. It is usually taken orally one or two times daily with meals. Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache are some of the side effects that can be noticed.

If your son still has seizures during sleep, the medication needs to be changed, so that he is seizure-free. Once the patient is seizure-free on adequate medications for more than 3-5 years, consideration as to the reduction and stoppage of medicines can be contemplated.

Hello. Your mother appears to be affected by a condition called epilepsy (most probably generalised tonic clonic siezure) which is going to remain there for life. As she is taking zeptol 400 (carbamazepine) regularly, it is the drug of choice for this condition too along with valproate and is quite safe too. Rule out high blood pressure or any other kidney problem
do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting.
Any way take
ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days
do knee exercises
it may have to be further investigated
make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.
You will need other supportive medicines also.
Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part.
Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder.
Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it.
Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10
paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises
make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take
do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
