About Zinc

Zinc is used for the control, prevention and treatment of zinc deficiency, stunted growth, acute diarrhea in children, and slow wound healing. It can also be used to help boost the immune system as well as prevent lower respiratory tract infections.

If prescribed by the doctor, Zinc may be used in the treatment of attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, hypogeusia, tinnitus, Crohn’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, down syndrome, Hansen’s disease, peptic ulcers, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and muscle cramps.
