Even though majority of the people who suffer from this disease are elders, there is a sudden spurt in many youngsters who suffer from this type of rare disease. Individuals who suffer from severe knee problems or those who underwent knee transplants or who suffer from RA should undergo a blood test known as Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (Anti-CCP) which will provide information related to the underlying problems. Majority of the RA patients have anti-CCP problems which is becoming a concern for medical fraternities.
