Control creatinine you take limited amount of protien, phosphorous, potassium, avoid packeged and canned food, eat fresh fruits and vegetables eat small frequent meals, drink plenty of water avoid alcohol and smoking do exercise for 45 minutes daily.

You have not mentioned if you have diabetes and hypertension. You must also understand that the age related decline in renal function is around 10 ml/min per decade after the age of fourty. Some times I see pts with mildly raised creatinine with no apparent reason apart from advanced age.

Hello, Thanks for the query. T o give any suggestions I need to know following details : actual BP readings, fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, lipid profile, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. Serum creatinine 1.22 mg is not too bad. Thanks.
