MBBS, PG Diploma in HIV Medicine
General Physician,
I know about hepatitis b but I do not know what is this hepatitis c places tell me.
Mainly 5types of viruses can cause hepatitis. A chronic or acute liver disease. Hepatitis a, b, c, d and e. Out of which hepatitis b and c are more dangerous. They can cause liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and ultimately liver cancer. Hepatitis a, d and e. Are less severe and usually present along or singly with b and c infection. Recently they have developed good treatment for hep c. But aggressive nature of the hep b is still challenging.
