Tears Plus Eye Drop

Tears Plus Eye Drop is a special formulation of Povidone and Polyvinyl Alcohol which is an effective treatment for dry eye conditions. It is also indicated in cases of irritation and tiredness in the eyes along with preventing dryness. It is important for in-eye rewetting of contact lenses.

Polyvinyl alcohol present in it increases the viscosity, hence increasing the contact time of Povidone inside the eyes. The function of Povidone is to facilitate the retention of tears on the surface of cornea for a longer duration. It serves as artificial tears which helps our eyes to fight dryness as well as soreness present with the conditions of dry eyes.

• Firstly, this is to make sure that the container should be intact prior to its use.
• We have to drop one to two drops of Tears Plus Eye Drop in each of the affected eyes as per recommendations of an ophthalmologist.
• We should not exceed the prescribed dosage.
