I had a ct scan of the whole abdomen to find that I have multiple enlarged lymph noded of size 12-26 mm in infrarenal retroperitoneal and root of the mesentery. And was told to evaluate the causes of non necrotic lymphadenopathy. What are the enlarged lymph nodes mean are they dangerous? Someone said it leads to cancer. Is it true? Please help me out.

Lymph vessels and nodes help us to fight diseases and also keep dirty things out of body. As there are lymph nodes we have to know the exact cause of these nodes. These may be enlarged due to TB or several other reasons. Contact some surgeon or onco-surgeon for biopsy or FNAC of lesions Convey your reports to me Let me know your progress.
