I have tsh since last seven months first time it was diagnosed 16.84 in range then doc prescribed me thyronorm 75 mcg I started taking after 20 days I again give test tsh it was suddenly came in normal range 3.44 then I again consult with doc she suggest me to take half of 75 mcg of tablet then after taking half tab aga8n after 3 months I gave blood sample for tsh it was 4.33. So want to know should I take full tab or half I again start taking full 75 mcg tablet please suggest me I am going right or wrong and also I want to convince earlier.

Zakiya ji, Thanks for the query. When one is on adequate dosage of Levothyroxine, TSH is maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which all the symptoms are in check. So you will have to continue the same dosage. Another important aspect to be kept in mind is if you are interested in having a baby, then TSH has to be maintained < 2.5 mU/L.This required even before getting pregnant and later al through the pregnancy.
