I am 32 years old nursing mother. My weight is 87 kg. I am having irregular periods since beginning. Visited ganga but they always said it's due to hormonal imbalance. My thyroid & pcod reports are normal. Few months back in january 2019, I had d & c due to heavy bleeding as the endometrium thickness was 30 mm. I haven't got my periods yet. What shall be the next treatment? Do I need to have hormonal imbalance test & which test are to done in it? Please suggest.

Hello, please repeat an ultrasound pelvis to check for endometrial thickness and also if more than 9 mm, then can opt for an endometrial biopsy for histopathology and then a withdrawal bleed with progesterones to resume menses. Further treatment shall be based on the histopathology report concerning hyperplasia with or without atypia.
