Medicines are different for hypothyroid and hyperthyroidism. Tsh 0.006 is suggestive of hyperthyroid and you should take medicine for that in consultation with your treating physician.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Since tsh has gone towards hyperthyroidism level, there is a need to stop levothyroxine for now. Then you will have to check tsh again after 6 weeks to see if it has come up or not. Another important aspect is what symptoms do you have now? Please let me following: t4, & t3 levels, bp, heart rate, whether you have any palpitations, sleep disturbances and excessive sweating? What about your menstrual cycles? Also look at your lipid levels and inform the same. It is better if you come in a private conversation with all that information, then I will be able to give specific guidance and even prescribe if there is any drug is required. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines. No drugs can be prescribed. Therefore, please come back as suggested or please do consult your physician preferably an endocrinologist at your place because a proper decision needs to be taken. Choice is yours. Thanks.
