Hi! warts are caused by the hpv virus and at times can be quite stubborn to treatment. Recurrences following removal are common and can be quite frustrating. In your case injection of bleomycin can be quite effective. Also nowadays immunotherapy is used to clear resistant warts. Liquid nitrogen is also effective but again recurrences might happen. Discuss the various treatment options including bleomycin and immunotherapy and oral retinoids with your dermatologist to choose the best solution for you. Hope this helps.
