My father who is 63 years old has a h/o diabetes and hypertension. Recently he is getting lightheadedness while waking up from supine position for 2 months. He went for general checkup and doctor said everything is fine. He reduced the hypertension medication (?cinnarizine+ domperidone) from 40 mg to 20 mg. But he is still getting the light headedness. So what should we do now? thank you in advance.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. However, there is no information on his actual BP readings, blood glucose readings & HbA1c%, because it is necessary to know both the conditions are controlled. Secondly the medication mentioned Cinnarizine + Domperidone is not for hypertension, actually it related to reduce vertigo or swaying if it is present. Cinnarizine dosage is 25 mg or in multiples of that. So please give all the details correctly then only some suggestions or an opinion can be given. Thanks.
