I have been advised to switch my birth control to kayrah from the side effects of dronis 30. please suggest out of kyrah and novelon, femilon which contains the least side effects to be used for long term.

Lower amounts of estrogen are associated with lesser side effects. Femilon has the least amount of estrogen and hence lesser side effects. It's better not to continue ocps after 40 years of age.
