My age 37. Are bp medicines safe while trying to conceive. I not started yet but trying natural way to control. My ecg is normal. Dr. prescribe me some test like lipid, sugar etc. Someone told me that start medicines if Dr. prescribe. Because high bp leads to miscarriage also. But I am scared. Depending on bp reading and other readings cardiologist or md physician will decide whether you need medicines or not. Inform prescribing doctor that you are planning pregnancy. Understand and accept higher risk to both you and baby in view of age.
