Secnil Forte 1Gm Tablet

Secnil forte is an anti-infective drug that controls the spread of diseases due to anaerobic bacterial or parasitic action. It is a highly recommended drug for treatment of dientamoebiasis.

It treats infections relating to the stomach, intestine, urinary tract and genital area. The drug can, however, influence the actions of anticoagulants, which increases the chances of bleeding.

The drug may be used with or without food as food intake does not influence the action of the medicine. It is advisable to stay away from smoking, alcohol, tobacco and caffeine while using Secnil.

It is not safe for use by breastfeeding and pregnant women. Lactose is the main constituent of this drug. Therefore, it is not prescribed to patients who suffer from lactose intolerance. Consumption of this medicine is also not safe for patients with a history of kidney or liver diseases as well as blood porphyria.

The side effects of using this drug may include allergic reactions. It can also result in severe asthma attacks, swelling of tongue, throat, and changes in voice. Other side effects include dizziness, hyperventilation, skin irritation such as rashes, hives or redness.
