About Zemiglo 50Mg Tablet
This medication is very well known for its abilities to lower glucose levels thus making it an oral anti-hyperglycemic agent. It used to treat Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. This medication has shown its efficiency with the medical condition when taken once daily. It can be taken with or without food at any time of the day.

How does this medication work?
This medication is an anti-hyperglycemic agent which works by competitively and reversibly inhibiting the enzyme Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4). DPP-4 breaks down enzymes GLP-1 and GIP, preventing them from performing their blood sugar regulatory activity. DPP-4 inhibition thus maintains normal blood sugar levels.
