About Adrenaline Test

Our body consists of two adrenal glands, each located above each kidney. Adrenaline is a type of hormone which is produced in the medulla in the adrenal glands along with some central nervous system’s neurons. Under a stressful situation, adrenaline is released and sends an impulse to organs to create a particular response within few minutes. The hormone produced helps to regulate many body processes. Adrenaline test is performed on a blood sample to measure the level of adrenaline in the blood. The test is usually performed to confirm the presence of Ganglioneuroma Tumor and Ganglioblastoma Tumor and also during and after the treatment of the specified tumor.
