About Allergy - Birch Test

An allergy can be defined as a condition in which your immune system responds aberrantly to a foreign substance in your body. Allergic reactions have a variety of causes and sources and can be termed as one of the common ways of compromising your immune system. Birch tree allergy falls under the category of oral allergies where you are allergic to birch pollen which is present in fruits, vegetables and etc. The birch tree allergy test is used to confirm if you’re allergic to birch pollens. The test is also called as Allergy Birch Enzyme Assay. This test uses a blood sample from the patient to derive an analysis and the lab report produced after the test will give you a detailed analysis and insight regarding the allergy, if present.
