The Porphobilinogen (PBG) 24 Hour Urine Test that facilitates in the diagnosis of a category of diseases called Porphyrias. Porphyrias are a series of inherited disorders that affects the skin, nervous system, or both. Porphobilinogen is responsible for the production of porphyrins that facilitates in the production of heme, an essential content of hemoglobin.
