Rabies is a zoonotic disease ( diseases that are transferred from animals to humans). It is caused by the rabies virus, of the Lyssavirus genus, a family of Rhabdoviridae. Domestic dogs are the most common reservoir of this virus, as 95% of human fatalities caused by dog-carried rabies. Rabies Antibodies test is a simple blood test performed on a sample of blood to evaluate the level of Rabies Antibodies in the blood.It is performed to confirm Muscle Spasm.
