AFB MTB Antibiogram Capreomycin test is performed on a sample of infected tissue to measure the level of Sensitivity to Capreomycin in the infected tissue. The aim before performing this test is to detect Drug Resistant Tuberculosis. Drug Resistant Tuberculosis is a type of tuberculosis infection caused by bacteria that are resistant to treatment with at least two of the first line anti-TB medications isoniazid and rifampin.
