Timothy grass is a hay crop native of Europe and Asia. This grass produces grass pollen which is a very common allergen. The pollen is very small and airborne; therefore, a person can inhale it even without realizing it. This allergy is mostly common during summers; however, it cannot be ignored during other seasons. The allergic reactions can be mild or severe, depending on the individual’s immune system. The common symptoms of this allergy include; cough, runny nose, asthma, fever, itchy nose, sore throat, watery eyes, puffed eyes, itchy eyes, and difficulty in breathing.
