The Celiac Disease profile test is used to detect the different set antibodies present in the blood. If these antibodies are present, that means you have the celiac disease and if they are not that mean you don’t. It is used to diagnose celiac disease and to evaluate the effectiveness of a gluten-free diet. When you have symptoms such as chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, anemia, and weight loss or if one of your family members has the celiac disease, then you may be asked to have the test as well. For infants, if they are chronically irritable or fail to grow at a normal rate then this test is suggested.
