To diagnose if someone has, or in recent times had a Parvovirus B19 infection; this test is prescribed. The test detects if someone is at amplified risk of complications from the viral infection; or if a fetus is at significant risk of constricting Parvovirus B19 from a mother who is diseased or has been open to someone with the virus. The doctor will prescribe this test when someone, individually an immune-compromised person, has tenacious or austere anaemia. Parvovirus B19 testing is not usually used to screen the standard population and is not considered essential in most circumstances of infection as signs are slight as well as timely.
