You need to know exact size and site of the stone Smaller stones can pass off through urine.But bigger stones may need intervention

My son ,aged 20 years has an 8.6 mm stone in his left ureter and a 3.5 mm. Stone in left kidney. Can they go their own? His doctor has prescribed him tamflo .4.

3.5 cm stone may pass off thru urine. But bigger stone is unlikely to pass Stones do not dissolve or break by themselves
