Alkof syrup is composed of Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan. It used to gain temporary relief from dry cough, stuffy nose, sinus, and ear symptoms caused by the allergies, common cold, flu, or other breathing illnesses such as sinusitis and bronchitis.

It works by narrowing the swelling of blood vessels in the ear and nose, thereby providing great relief from discomfort. Dextromethorphan works as a decongestant by suppressing the nervous system and the part of your brain which is responsible for coughing.
