About Amixide H 12.5 Mg/5 Mg Tablet

This medication is composed of a tricyclic antidepressant and benzodiazepine sedative. It is used for the treatment of depression and its symptoms. The tablet basically controls brain chemicals in patients who suffer from mental illness.

The drug should not be used if you have suffered a heart attack recently. It is also not meant for consumption by breastfeeding mothers as the medicine can pass into the milk and harm the baby. You should take the tablet as per the instructions of your doctor. It can take about 4 weeks before your symptoms of depression show improvement.

The side effects you may experience are diarrhea or constipation, nausea and vomiting. Other rare side effects include bad taste and pain in the mouth, changes in appetite as well as weight, rashes and swelling of breasts.
