About Burnol Prickderm Cream

Burnol cream is used to treat bacterial infections. It possesses anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It also helps in treating skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema fungal Infections and infection between thighs, toes, fingers, buttocks, underside of breast and armpit.

This cream should only be used by patients after consulting the doctor. It should not be used by children and people who are allergic to it, had tuberculosis, any type of infection or a serious liver disease.

    How does this medication work?

    This cream is multi-medicated, thus works via multiple mechanisms. It is a synthetic glucocorticoid that specifically binds to cytoplasmic receptors. This inhibits leukocyte entry at the inflammation site, interferes in inflammatory response mediator functioning, and reduces edema and scar tissues. It also binds to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and alters its permeability. Lastly, it binds itself to 30S-subunit proteins and also 16S rRNA. It attaches irreversibly to a total of four nucleotides of 16S rRNA and one protein S12 amino acid. This causes interference when it comes to decoding the site.
