Canesten S Cream

This medication is used to cure inflammatory skin conditions such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, psoriasis and eczema.

This cream should be used with caution by people having high blood pressure, a family history of diabetes, osteoporosis, a family history of glaucoma, eye cataracts, stomach or duodenal ulcers, decreased liver or kidney function, mental health problems or those taking steroids. It should not be used by children and people who are allergic to it, had tuberculosis, any type of infection or a serious liver disease.

This cream works via a dual mechanism and includes medicine Beclometasone and Clotrimazole. It is used for curing skin infections. Beclometasone inhibits leukocyte entry at the inflammation site, interferes in inflammatory response mediator functioning, and reduces edema and scar tissues. Clotrimazole has both fungistatic and fungicidal actions. It binds to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and alters its permeability.
