Cefodem 100 MG Syrup treats mild bacterial infections. This antibacterial medication stops bacteria from spreading. It helps in treating diseases such as bronchitis (infection of the air passages to the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils and urinary tract. This medication does not work for viral infections like flu.
Cefodem 100 MG Syrup is available in the form of chewable tablets and liquid solution. It is usually taken at intervals of 12 hours for 5 to 14 days.
Take this medication at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, never take two doses at one go. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body. It’s better to skip a missed dose. It is important to check all the ingredients before the medication. It can help you avoid having allergic reactions later in case you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Cefodem 100 MG Syrup is used to cure urinary tract infection caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Ear Infection (Otitis Media)
It helps in treating otitis media caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis
Cefodem 100 MG Syrup cures Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae and some fungal infections.
Cefodem 100 MG Syrup treats bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumonia, Haemophilus influenzae and some Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
Cefodem 100 MG Syrup is used to treat Gonococcal infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
