About Cilacar T 80mg Tablet

This medication is known to be channel blocker of calcium along with ARB (Angiotensin receptor blocker), in combination. It aids in treating high blood pressure. This tablet stops the calcium and angiotensin activity on the blood vessels and the heart and kidney respectively. As a result, there is an increase in the supply of blood to the heart.

This, in turn, helps lower blood pressure as well as slows down the heart rate. Moreover, this medication helps to reduce strain on the heart in case of a heart attack. It should be consumed once or even twice daily depending on the dosage and intensity of the condition.

Also, it displaces angiotensin II with very high affinity from its binding site at the AT1 receptor subtype, which is responsible for the known actions of angiotensin II
