Duzela M 20 Mg/1.5 Mg Tablet

Duzela tablet is used for treating generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, nerve pain associated with diabetes, fibromyalgia pain and chronic muscle or joint pain.

It is better to take it with food to prevent nausea. The dosage depends on your age, health condition and how your body responds to the treatment. The doctor may prescribe a small dose initially and then increase it gradually. Ensure to take your doses regularly to get benefit. If you miss a dose you can take it later, but do not take multiple doses at once to make up for the missed ones. Overdose of this medication can lead to toxic side effects.

• Are there any missed dose instructions?

  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose should be skipped.

This medication is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. It works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine thus increasing its levels in the brain and helps in relieving the symptoms of depression. It weakly inhibits the reuptake of dopamine.
