Iopamidol

Iopamidol is used for the control, prevention and treatment of brain disorders, heart disorders, blood vessel disorders, and disorders of the nervous system. Iopamidol works by adding contrast to body parts and fluids in imaging tests, thus aiding in proper diagnosis and treatment.

Do not take Iopamidol if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in it. Before using Iopamidol tell your doctor if you are using any prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, or other herbal and dietary pills and supplements, if you suffer from liver disease or kidney disease, if you have a history of asthma, if you have diabetes, if you have sickle cell anemia, if you have epilepsy, if you have a thyroid disorder, or if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. Possible side effects of Iopamidol include nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness, sudden weight gain, decreased urination, wheezing, trouble breathing, and seizures.
