Lanol 650 MG Tablet ER

Lanol 650 MG Tablet ER is used a pain-relieving medication. It is primarily used to treat acute pain. The conditions of acute pain include backache, headache, arthritis and toothache, etc.

The active ingredient falls under the class of analgesics, belonging to the category of NSAID. This medication also reduces pain in the body caused due to fever.

You should not consume this tablet if:

For adults Lanol 650 MG Tablet ER the general dose for fever and pain is 325-650 mg tablets once in every 4 to 6 hours or 1000mg tablets once in every 6 to 8 hours. It is advised to be guided by the doctor’s prescription and never to exceed the prescribed dosage.

For treating Lanol 650 MG Tablet ER toxicity, Acetylcysteine 140 mg/kg is administered orally (loading) followed by 70 mg/kg every 4 hours for 17 doses.

Therapy should be initiated based upon laboratory analysis suggesting high probability of hepatotoxic potential. Activated charcoal is very effective at binding acetaminophen.

Maintain adequate hydration (2-3 L/day of fluids unless instructed to restrict fluid intake). This medication will not reduce inflammation; consult prescriber for anti-inflammatory, if needed.
