Minado tablet is composed of Naproxen and Domperidone. Naproxen is NSAID (Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug) that inhibit prostaglandin synthesis by non selectively impeding the COX -1 And COX -2 enzymes. This helps in alleviating inflammation, as prostaglandin is a regulator for inflammation in muscles. Domperidone attaches to the dopaminergic receptors without causing any release of the chemical dopamine. This in turn, facilitates gastric emptying and decreases small bowel transit time.
