The allergen, Individual cow dander test is used to analyse the level IgE antibody and to determine the kind of allergy a person is suffering from which happens to be caused by dander of cow or any other milch animal. Sometimes, this test is also confused by a person suffering from intolerance of lactose. Due to direct exposure to cattle, various things such as hairs, skin and even from the waste products, the allergy causing agents enter the body of a human and directly affect the immune system. A few of symptoms of allergen include tiredness, sneezing, problem with breathing, etc.
The allergen or IgE test can be done through a simple blood test. There is no specific preparation which is required in this test, just few steps and you are done. Before going through the procedure of this test, you need to inform the doctor or the lab technician about the type of medication you are having and also about any kind of allergies you have. The doctor or the lab technician will perform the test accordingly. Also the accuracy of the test won’t be disrupted.

There are steps the test taker will perform; you just need to co-operate him. The steps are as follow: At first, an elastic band would be tied around your shoulder for locating your veins clearly. Now, the technician will select a vein through which the sample will be taken out. After wiping the area, he will insert an injection for sample. After getting the required sample the injection will be removed. Cotton must be put immediately to stop the bleeding with pressure. Also, the elastic band can be removed now. The blood sample must be collected in sterile container. The blood samples would be now sent to the lab for further procedure.
