TOOTH ACHE
Salt mixed with pepper can be of great use when a tooth becomes extremely sensitive as both the ingredients have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Mix equal amounts of pepper and common salt with a few drops of water to form a paste.
Apply the paste directly on the affected tooth and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
Do this daily for several days.

Breast feeding is best for your baby, formula feeding is just substitution. Colostrum is the so called" witch milk" that comes out from the mother's nipple for 2-3 days after child birth. It should definately be given to the baby as it is a rich source of immunoglobulins and anti-infective factors for the baby. Burp your child everytime after a feed.Motherhood has to be enjoyed rather than a duty to fulfill.

We are often getting questions about Psoriasis. This is broadly vat kaf disease and is kashtsadhya to asadhya classification. Best ayurveda regime is to undergo panchakarma in a good ayurveda hospital. However till that time please start taking ayurveda med at home advised as per your condition. Mostly raktshodhak, anti- inflammatory and cleansing med orally and locally are advised.
But its really difficult to cure.

Acne and pimples are not a problem, it is only a body secretion that get deposit on the face or any other part. Use of oil controlling creams never cure your acne but only suppress the oil production for a time being. This is not a permanent treatment for your illness. Suppuration causes more collection of pus inside the body and become the cause of infection. So never use oil controlling creams and anti perspirants. I only advice to take homoeopathic medicine which control the oil production inside the body decrease the chances of pimples.

CHOOSE A RIGHT TOOTHPASTE?????
We are not promoting any brand but when you go for buying a right paste for you which one would you choose. Always choose a paste with cream base and whitish in colour. For kids, opt for a flouride paste once they are above 6 years and upto the age of 13. For anyone with the problem of sensitivity please refer to a dentist to know about the cause of sensitivity rather than buy a anti-sensitive paste.
A good toothpaste should have triclosan. You can also choose herbal pastes with ingredients of neem etc.

Spinach to cure acne

Toxins and bacteria that aren't released get stored as waste and this eventually leads to acne. Green foods like spinach are rich in chlorophyll which helps cleanse bacteria and toxins from the digestive tract and blood stream. Spinach is rich in vitamin a which naturally acts as an anti acne agent.

Hello everyone! Most of times our concerns are the yellow deposits around the teeth. We brush hard thinking that they will get removed. But truth is that even if you brush 100 times a day, they won't come out. These yellow deposits are films of bacteria and can only be removed by a dentist by procedure known as Scaling. If you don't want these deposits, floss and use a mouth wash daily. Because your toothpaste doesn't conatain anti bacterial agents in sufficient quantities.

Diabetic macular oedema ( DME ) is severe form of Diabetic Retinopathy affecting vision.
DME can occur in any stage of diabetes.
Thus, the importance of regular eye check-up for diabetic patients is must. At least once in a year get your eyes fully tested.
Most of the people are unaware of this complication. And many times when I ask my patient about eye test I get answers like , "I got my eye glasses power checked and changed or I don't have cataract. "
Eye check-up for diabetic person is checking the back part of the eye which is called as Retina.
Once DME is diagnosed, immediate treatment is necessary to ensure better outcomes and prevent vision loss.

Diabetic macular oedema (DME) can be treated using laser therapy and/or intravitreal injections with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitor injections.

Anti-VEGFs are able to reduce oedema, macula thickening and vascular permeability
They are the treatment of choice for DME because they can improve the patient’s vision ,produce good results and have a low risk of complications.

3 anti-VEGFs are available in market. bevacizumab and ranibizumab, aflibercept .

In some patients, there may be a need for a combination therapy of both laser treatment and intravitreal anti-VEGF injections. DME treatment needs to be personalised to cater to each patient’s conditions. This applies to the frequency of intravitreal anti-VEGF injections, with the injections given as per the patient’s condition instead of following a strict routine frequency protocol.
