Filariasis is a parasitic disease that is transmitted through the bites of infected mosquitoes. It is not a sexually transmitted disease, and sexual contact with a person who has filariasis is not a direct cause of transmission. However, it is important to note that filariasis is a communicable disease, which means that it can be transmitted from one person to another through the bites of infected mosquitoes. So if your husband has filariasis, it's important for both of you to take measures to avoid mosquito bites, such as using insect repellent, wearing long sleeves and pants, and sleeping under mosquito nets. If you live in an area where filariasis is endemic, it's also possible that you could become infected with the parasite through mosquito bites even if your husband does not have the disease.

If you have been treated for malaria and are still experiencing dizziness and throbbing pain in one side of your head, it is possible that you may be experiencing a side effect from the medication or have another underlying condition. It would be best to follow up with your healthcare provider to discuss your symptoms and have a full evaluation to determine the cause of your ongoing symptoms. They may recommend further testing or refer you to a specialist for further evaluation and management. Sex and maleria has nothing in relation. Feel free to consult me regarding this. Message me on whatsapp +mobile. My consultation fee is only rs. 50! take care. Wish you health.

Hello lybrate-user, filariasis has got nothing to do with what you eat. If you are positive for filariasis infection you can effectively treat it with medicine. If you already got lymphedema associated with filariasis disease, then it can't be cured. Please get proper medical help.

As your father have filariasis on both legs for 15 years and sciatica -recently --i recommend a check-up by a good medical consultant first.
