Vitamin d deficiency can affect various bodily functions, including hormonal balance. Low levels of vitamin d might indirectly impact cortisol levels, but this relationship isn't straightforward. Insomnia can be a complex condition influenced by various factors, including stress, hormonal imbalances, and lifestyle. Both melatonin and cortisol tests can provide insights into your sleep issues. Homeopathic remedies like coffea cruda or passiflora can be helpful for insomnia, but I recommend consulting with a healthcare provider to understand the underlying causes and to get a comprehensive treatment plan.

It's positive that you've already undergone a full body checkup, and it's great that you're addressing the low vitamin d and b12 levels. For vitamin d supplementation, you can consider taking vitamin d3 (cholecalciferol). The recommended dosage can vary, but a common range is 600 to 2,000 international units (iu) per day. However, the specific dosage should be determined by your treating physician based on your individual needs. Regarding vitamin b12, supplements such as cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin are commonly used. The appropriate dosage will depend on the severity of your deficiency, and your doctor will guide you on the correct amount. While supplements are important, it's also crucial to focus on dietary sources of these vitamins. Include foods rich in vitamin d, such as fatty fish and fortified dairy products, and sources of vitamin b12, like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy. It's important to follow up with your doctor regularly to monitor your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed. If you have any additional questions or concerns, I encourage you to schedule a private text consultation within the app. This will allow for a more detailed discussion of your symptoms and a personalized approach to your health. Your well-being is our priority, and seeking direct medical advice from your healthcare provider is always the best course of action.
