What is the accuracy of dna pcr hiv test after 50 days is it ok or not please give me the suitable answer,
Pcr pathogen tests rely on the detection of genetic material (dna or rna). A positive or negative pcr test result may correctly reflect the presence or absence of genetic material in the submitted sample but may not correctly reflect the infection status. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and healthy lifestyle.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Post-exposure prophylaxis (pep) can affect pcr test results. Though the chances of hiv tests coming positive later is almost nill with given risk exposure and test results, it is better to go for an hiv antibodies test after three months of exposure to relieve anxiety let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a treatment plan for you.

Dear user. Thanks for the question. HIV spread through Contact between broken skin, wounds, or mucous membranes and HIV-infected blood or blood-contaminated body fluids. Deep, open-mouth kissing if both partners have sores or bleeding gums and blood from the HIV-positive partner gets into the bloodstream of the HIV-negative partner. HIV is not spread through saliva.

Dear lybrate-user, This test is not final. I simply indicates absence of "presence of virus" Negative results may only indicate that the person has been exposed but the infection has not yet developed. If you believe that you have been exposed you should repeat the test. Regards.

If you have gone through some test and found negative hiv, them you may not required further tests. If still feel like it is urgent them you might be suffering from aids phobia. The main cause of getting infected from hiv is unprotected sex. Hiv is a virus that lives in human blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk. It weakens your immune system, so your body has a hard time fighting off common germs, viruses, fungi, and other invaders. Hiv doesn't live in saliva, tears, pee, or sweat -- so it can't be spread by casual contact with these body fluids. If still in doubt, connect with me via call for right consultation.
