Immunofixation Electrophoresis Urine Questions

Hi, My husband was detected with multiple myeloma after 4 cycle of chemotherapy. He under went bone marrow transplant. For 3 years he is under maintenance. Borviz 2 mg injected twice a month. I want to know for how many years borviz can be continued.

Actually the data is for 2 years for the bortezomib maintenance post bone marrow transplant. However it may be continued if there is no toxicity due to same. So would request to discuss with the physician and if there is no toxicity it may be prudent to continue the same. The expected toxicity would be sensory neuropathy.

My mother is a multiple myeloma patient and is not taking any medicines now after 3 years of VAD treatment and regular checkup. She complains of twisting and tightness in toes and finger joints nowadays. I think it's side effect of chemo that was done. Any suggestions?
