This test is conducted to identify HPV virus in the body. HPV is an infection that can pass from one person to another through skin contact. There are more than 100 varieties of HPV viruses, in which almost 40 are passed from sexual intercourse or oral sex. This can affect one’s genitals, mouth, or throat.
